Christmas
Christmas
Christmas has been with us for a very long time, but NOT as long as some think. Many mistakenly believe that the Christian churches have been celebrating Christmas since the church started on the Day of Pentecost. The truth is, for the first 400 - 500 years of Christianity there is no mention made of a celebration centering around the "birth" of Jesus. The early church DID NOT observe what we know today as Christmas. It wasn't until well into the 4th century that some (NOT ALL) professing Christians started observing Christmas in one form or another. Over the years Christmas was polished over and over to become one of the brightest stones in Christian "theology".

'The Entitlement Generation'
'The Entitlement Generation' wants it all and wants you to
pay for it. And let us not forget, they do not want to be held accountable. The
problem comes around when the person with HIV/AIDS sleeps around and does not
tell the next and the next person that they are infected. That gets the government involved. Then we
have Sandra Fluke of 'The Entitlement Generation' asking us to pay for her
contraception. Not realizing that once you ask the government for anything, the
government becomes a part of your life, even your sex life. Look at Angel Adams of Tampa Florida, who had
fifteen children and at first demanded that the state pay for them. If we can
handle our own business and keep others out of our lives, that would be great.
But they are not asking us to stay out of their bedroom; they are dragging us
into their bedrooms with their books and their lifestyle choices.
